About us

TotalEnergies has developed a strong expertise in oil and biofuels, natural gas and electricity trading. Trading entities are based in Geneva, Paris, Houston and Singapore.

TotalEnergies installed its European trading hub across in Geneva, which now bring together very large teams around trading activities: TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP).

T&S is the trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies. It has been a major and active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage market risk.

What you will do

As a member of a dynamic team and company, you will work with business and technical teams. Your mission will be to develop a dynamic Application dedicate to the Credit Desk, to evaluate the credit outstanding, in order to help them, being more reactive with their decisions.
Back-end development will be done in Python and the Front-end will be done with Power BI.

To fulfil your mission, your main responsibilities will be the following:
  • Collect and analyse business needs in order to develop functional and technical specifications;
  • Assist businesses in the digitization and automation of their tasks;
  • Develop the solution using available resources (Python, R, PBI, Azure DevOps…) and in compliance with good technical practices;
  • Check regularly with the business the consistency of the project and alignment with the objectives (AGILE method)
  • Ensure the sustainability and stability of the systems developed.

Context and environment

We are looking, as part of a 6-month internship, a data analyst who will work within the Citizen Development team of the Information and Digital System department and in close collaboration with business experts (Credit Risk) on different aspects of a new project: need assessment, development, deployment, support, etc

Candidate profile

Your Profile
  • You are enrolled in your final year of Master in Data / Computer Science;
  • You have good development skills (Python or R);
  • You are dynamic, methodical, rigorous and curious;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are a volunteer with a strong team spirit;
  • English essential.
  • A tri-partite internship agreement is mandatory
